Abstract Manual medicine is the medical discipline that deals with diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of reversible functional disturbances in locomotor system other related organ systems. The current article illustrates neuroanatomical neurophysiological fundamentals mechanisms manual diagnostics treatment. Based on recent literature consideration different scientifically based clinical guidelines, evidence-based effectiveness therapeutic procedures presented. Acute chronic low back pain, cervicogenic headache, neck shoulder radicular arm dysfunctional thoracic pain syndromes, diseases rotator cuff, carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis are included. Clinical case studies illustrate procedures. term, origin, presence “osteopathy” addressed detail, national international societies ( Deutsche Gesellschaft für Manuelle Medizin [DGMM], European Scientific Society Medicine [ESSOMM], Fédération Internationale de [FIMM]) portrayed lexically.
